Data sources and methodology
Transmission System Operator Cyprus (TSOC) publishes day-ahead market clearing prices in EUR/MWh. These are wholesale prices, not a household tariff or an investment return. The live market started on 1 October 2025; trial-market data and retail tariffs are not appended to this series.
History uses hourly averages for ranges of up to 31 days and daily averages for longer ranges. Detailed views show original 30-minute prices, daily averages or monthly averages. Averages are weighted by interval duration; minimum and maximum values come from the original prices. The history change is the last minus the first available price, in EUR/MWh.
Times follow Asia/Nicosia, including daylight saving. Clock-change days are read from TSOC’s original daily reports, which preserve the 46 or 50 settlement intervals. Zero and negative prices are retained. Missing observations are gaps; coverage is stated explicitly.
Opening this page checks for new publications; visible pages refresh every three minutes. Published history is retained when a source request fails. Tomorrow’s prices appear only after TSOC publishes them. Source reports may be revised.
